Quirky Small Garden Redesign
Paving, raised bed and new planting for interesting small garden.
This design has now been approved by the client.
It’s a lovely small garden in Penge with interesting shapes, curves and planting already in situ. The client wants to replace the sedge infested patch with paving so I opted for a teardrop shape including the requested rock feature, visible from he seating area. She also wants a raised veg bed so I have added a corner curved bed, jutting slightly into the teardrop.
The large cotoneaster will be removed, to be replaced by a dwarf acer, and less obstructive planting. There will be a gravel segment at the top, with lavender and grasses; the rest will be planted borders.
I cannot wait to get started on this project.
